Terms and Conditions

FlyAway Travel and Tours

Draft for review by FlyAway Travel and Tours' legal advisor before launch. Last updated: September 2026.

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern all bookings made with FlyAway Travel and Tours ("FlyAway", "we", "us") through this website, by telephone or email. By making a booking you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and all travellers in your party.

2. Bookings and payment

  • All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to availability and change until paid in full.
  • A booking is confirmed only once payment has been received and a confirmation reference has been issued.
  • Prices for flights, accommodation and packages are set by third-party suppliers and may include supplier terms in addition to these terms.
  • Quoted package prices are per person unless stated otherwise; "T & C apply, subject to availability" as indicated on our published specials.

3. Travel documents

  • Travellers are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports (with at least 6 months' validity and sufficient blank pages), visas, and health documentation for all destinations.
  • Names on bookings must match travel documents exactly. FlyAway is not liable for denied boarding due to incorrect traveller details supplied to us.

4. Changes and cancellations

Changes and cancellations are governed by our Cancellation Policy and the rules of the relevant airline, hotel or supplier, which may impose their own fees.

5. Liability

  • FlyAway acts as an agent for airlines, accommodation providers and other suppliers. The supplier's own conditions of carriage or service apply to each element of your trip.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlyAway is not liable for loss or damage arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including flight delays, schedule changes, weather, or acts of authorities.
  • Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

6. Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all bookings and is a condition of some packages. Please ask your consultant.

7. Complaints

Please raise any problem with us as soon as it occurs so we can help: sales@flyaway.co.za or 076 498 6786.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

9. IMPORTANT NOTICE

All passengers under 18 years of age are required to travel with an unabridged birth certificate, in addition to a valid passport, with effect from 01 October 2014. It is the responsibility of travellers to familiarize themselves with the new Immigration Act detailing the regulations of minors departing from, transiting and returning to South Africa.

Flyaway Travel will not be held responsible if your child is denied boarding due to non compliance of the above.
